1Who must register
Under gov.hr rules, obliged parties include legal and natural persons providing overnight stays, household or farm hospitality accommodation, and owners of holiday homes, apartments or vacation flats receiving guests.
The duty applies whether the booking came from Airbnb, Booking or direct channels — platforms do not file eVisitor entries on your behalf.
2Accessing eVisitor
eVisitor is a web application — no desktop install required. Secure login is used; the local Tourist Board must inform obliged parties, provide training and issue user instructions.
Apartment owners typically receive credentials from the municipal/city Tourist Board. Schedule TZ onboarding before your first season, especially if you are a foreign owner with property on the coast.
3Registration and deregistration deadlines
Official rule: register all guests within 24 hours of arrival. Deregister within 24 hours of departure; holiday-home owners also deregister on the last day of stay.
Do not confuse with Serbia’s eTurista (different country, portal and rules). In June–September, register at check-in — 24 hours is the legal maximum, not a target when you have multiple arrivals.
4Data to prepare
Entries follow ID or passport data: full name, date of birth, document type and number, nationality, arrival and departure dates, headcount.

5Agency or host — who registers
If you work with a travel agency, the contract must state who registers guests in eVisitor. Unless agreed otherwise, the accommodation provider remains responsible.
